IFBB Medical and Research Committee was re-named Medical and Doping Committee.

Korean Dong-Ki Han was declared as the winner of the Ben Weider Most Improved Bodybuilder Award. The USA annexed the Team Posing honors – the prestigious Julien Blommaert trophy.
